TERMS

1. PAYMENT

A 50% deposit is due prior to our 1 hour consultation for any Web Design service as well as before any work begins on a project. All deposits are non-refundable and are payable through PayPal, email money transfers or cash. Unless otherwise specified in writing, the client is charged the remaining balance upon completion of the project. Website login credentials are given to the client when all payments are cleared.

 

Payment plans are available for projects over $750 in which the payment may be split into 3 installments and payed within 60 days: 40% down payment, 30%  within 30 days and the final 30% balance is due within 60 days. The website can be completed and live during this period of time, however, the client will not receive access to login credentials until all three payments are made.

 

Failure to pay on agreed upon dates, may result in website suspension until payments are made, or a termination of the sales contract.

 

Designer Boss is not responsible for any web Hosting or Domain registration fees. Hosting and Domains must be purchased through a 3rd party provider such as BlueHost or GoDaddy and are mandatory in order to begin a web design project.

1. PRICING

Prices on this website are in USD (US currency). If you are located in Canada please use the drop-down menu to convert the currency to Canadian Dollars. Prices on this website are base prices and are subject to change. Depending on the clients project, prices may vary.

2. DESIGN PROCESS

Once the down payment is made, we will have a 1 hour consultation in which we will begin the process of planning out exactly what will be needed to complete the project. The client will also receive a list of things they will need to provide to me in order for me to get started. All content (i.e. images, text, logo etc.) that the client wishes to have on their website, is to be submitted to me prior to beginning the design process to avoid any unnecessary revisions.

 

If the client wishes to add or change content during the design process or purchase one of the ADD-ON services after the design process has begun, they are free to do so. However, this may delay the completion time or result in an additional fee depending on what and how much they are changing.

 

I will check in periodically with the client and allow them to see the progression of their site to ensure that they are completely satisfied.

 

Once a project is completed and paid for, if the client needs to make any additional changes or revisions, they may purchase the Site Maintenance ADD-ON.

3. TURNAROUND TIME

Project turnaround time can range from 10 days to 5 weeks depending on my current workload as well as the size and complexity of the project. Time frames given are estimates only and are subject to change at any time. Delays in project completion may occur when:

  • There is a delay in payments
  • There is a delay in email response times from client
  • The client requests changes of the design, structure, or content of the project
  • The client purchases an ADD-ON service to include to the project
  • There is a delay in the receipt of any content form the client

 

All project statuses are set as “completed” after a 2 month period has passed (calculated from the first payment date).This means no additional work will be done on that project unless the client purchases the Site Maintenance ADD-ON.
