Before you can get online you need to sign up for hosting and register a domain name. Hosting is basically like purchasing your own piece of land in the internet world to build your website on. A domain name is your web address (example: www.mybusinessname.com).
I highly recommend using BLUEHOST. I’ve been using them for years and love them because they have great 24/7 customer support, their plans are extremely affordable starting as low as $3.95/mth plus you get a FREE domain name and 5 business email addresses! They also have a 30 day money back guarantee for their hosting plans if you change your mind.
When choosing a domain name the best extension to use is .COM, but often times the one you want might already be taken by someone else, so you can try using another popular extension such as .NET or .ORG. If you really really want a .COM you can also play around with the spelling of your domain name or simply add a hyphen ex: www.Designer-Boss.com.
If you are located in Canada and your business is predominantly geared to locals you can use .CA. BlueHost doesn’t sell .CA’s but GoDaddy does, so you can purchase your .CA domain name from GoDaddy:
The next step is for you to get all of your content ready for your website and submit it to me. That includes pictures/images, slogans, all of the text/information you want to include on the different pages of your site, prices and product information if applicable etc.

Your home page is the most important page on your website and should briefly tell visitors exactly what you do and who you are. Here are some ideas of what you may want to include on your home page:
If you offer products or services and you don’t want to have an Ecommerce site (online shop: MINI BOUTIQUE WEBSITE or PRO BOUTIQUE WEBSITE) then you’ll probably want a page dedicated to your products or services to give potential clients more details about exactly what you offer:
Image is everything so it’s important that you have really good high-quality images for your website. I will need a high-resolution logo from you. If you don’t have one I can create one for you (LOGO DESIGN SERVICES).
Depending on the nature of your business I recommend investing in getting professional pictures done, otherwise, good quality stock images can be purchased online for an additional charge.
I can also embed your Instagram posts on to your site so that you can have a photo gallery that displays your live Instagram feed directly on your site.

Every package comes with a contact page which includes a simple contact form that will be integrated to your email address. Here is a list of some other information you may want to include:
You may want to have a separate About Us page if you have a lot to write or if you want to post a brief profile of employees/team members. If you don’t have much to write you can just add your About Us section to your home page.
All packages include an Instagram gallery which shows your live Instagram feed so every time you post to Instagram it will automatically show up on your website.
However, if you would like to have a separate gallery page and upload images manually, I can set up a separate page for that. You would just need to provide me with high-quality images to post, and a brief caption if applicable.
